Sometime last year, new surfaced that Emmanuel Adom who played Striker in the Hollywood movie ‘Beast of no Nation’ was begging for money to buy food on the streets of Accra.
When interrogated, he revealed that the money he earned for his role as ‘Striker’ in ‘Beat of no Nation’ was not given to him by his handlers and that he lives with his Grandmother at helps a man who sells yam at Abgogbloshie.
The manager of both Emmanuel and Abraham Attah at the time claimed that the money is in a trust fund which is earning interest for him.
Emmanuel further revealed that Mr Sam and Mr Robert withdrew an amount of GHC 40,000 to purchase a commercial vehicle as an investment.
But in an interview with Joy News, striker revealed that the money which was supposedly put in a trust fund for him at a Barclays bank branch in America does not bear his name and the car is nowhere to be found
He made an official complain to the Greater Accra Region commander accusing two of his handlers; Kobina Sam, who played Abraham Attah’s father and Kofi Robert of duping him an amount of $30,000.
