Shatta Wale reacts to CNN’s list of top 10 African music stars, teases Sarkodie for not making the list

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has reacted to CNN’s list of top 10 African music stars which had no Ghanaian representative.

CNN on November 22, 2019, published a compilation of 10 Africa’s biggest stars in the music industry which included 5 Nigerian musicians(Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Mr Eazi) two South Africans(Sho Madjozi and Busiswa Gqulu), Angelique Kidjo from Benin, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania and Mwila Musonda from Zambia.

The list, however, saw no Ghanaian artists included making us wonder how could some of our big artistes like Sarkodie, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy miss out.

Well, CNN never gave the criteria they used in their selection so we can’t argue. In this has Shatta Wale reacted to the section of Ghanaians blasting him for not making the list upon all his ‘paah’ paaah’ ‘paaah’.

According to Shatta Wale, media stations in Ghana should be blamed for the ‘no show’ in the list.

In his assertion, stakeholders and gatekeepers in the industry care about nothing than “talking about people’s lives but not our professional lives (music).

“Now Ghana music industry you see how stupid you people are? All you guys care about is people personal lives and not our professional lives (music) ..Now your artiste you paint to people no deh here , me too anode there ..You see how you fool .. congrats to these arts ..You just made me proud and me alone I say !!! Any station that discuss this should bow their ugly faces in shame,” he posted on Facebook.
