Ghanaian hip-hop artist, Kojo-Cue has declared Mr. Eazi the Jay-Z of afro beats in a recent post on Twitter.
Mr. Eazi has empowered 100 independent African artists with $100,000 through his emPawa Africa project. This act has touched Kojo-Cue’s heart and he has declared him the Jay-Z of afro beat here in Africa
Jay-Z has been referred to as the ‘’superman of hip-hop’’ due to his dedication to rescuing his fellow rappers when they are in trouble. Jay-Z has helped the likes of Mike Mill, Lil Wayne, 21 Savage and many other rappers when they needed help, whether in cash or in kind. He doesn’t do it for the fame, but because he cares about the people.
It is reasonable for Kojo-Cue to compare Mr. Eazi to Jay-Z because he shows his support to fellow afro beats artist and has empowered a number of independent artists to build their careers in music.
Mr. Eazi has also featured international artist like Beyoncé, Major Lazer and has toured with Bad Bunny and Jbalvin
