It has been confirmed that Donald Trump has pardoned rapper Lil Wayne.
Back at the end of October 2020, Weezy received a lot of backlash when he endorsed Trump for the presidential election against now President-elect Joe Biden. “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done,” the rapper posted on Twitter.
Since news of his pardon from Trump began to surface recently, many remembered the endorsement and wondered if Wayne did this as a way of getting Trump to grant him pardon in regard to to his own legal issues.
Trump also granted pardon to rapper Kodak Black and Death Row Records co-founder Michael ‘Harry-O’ Harris after Snoop Dogg privately held conversations with the soon-to-be-out president about the possibility of freeing the former exec.
