John Dumelo wins Primaries at Ayawaso West with 758 votes

Celebrated Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has won the ongoing parliamentary primary for NDC in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency with 758 votes against his opponent, Afua Adobea.

Dumelo says his main aim is to be a part of the “decision making process” in the country and to achieve his aim, his party needs to take the seat back from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking in an interview on GhOne,Madam Suzzy Afua Adoboe Who accumulated a paltry 99 votes out of the 859 votes cast of with two ballots rejected said that, she feels proud for being the only woman to contest against Dumelo.

John Dumelo’s supporters Were spotted cheering him up after his victory and even before that, they they could be heard chanting “We want John,” an indication that they wanted him to win and fortunately for them, he did.

Mr Dumelo said in an Interview on GhOne that he’s hopeful to win the seat in the 2020 elections.
