The 2019 Headies kicked off with a red carpet at about 7PM at the Eko Convention center on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

The event which was the 13th edition saw musicians and other personalities from several countries gracing the occasion.

Ghanaian musician King Promise also won The Africkingan Artiste RECOGNITION with his hit single CCTV.
